Dear Jenni
Bless you for thinking of me!!
Saw the (gorgeous

- well, there's got to be some compensation for this awful RA ) rheumy today. I did get told off a bit for not contacting the hospital helpline - didn't tell him that it's quicker to see a GP!
As I expected, the sulf is no longer effective,so he's going to put me on methotrexate.
When I saw the emergency GP on Sunday he put me on tramadol and meloxicam which has eased the flare a bit. I took 2 days off work to rest as well. The tramadol has made me a bit spaced out so rheumy said only to take it at night to help me sleep.
I've got to see the rheumy nurse to get started and have an assessment- whatever that means. So fingers crossed that methotrexate works. Meanwhile I've got to keep taking the sulf otherwise I'll just get a lot worse.
I'm pleased that things are getting sorted but a bit cheesed off as well ,as there I was blissfully thinking that once on the sulf, all would be ok! As it was for a good 18 months. I'm still a naive newbie to all this RA lark.
Anyway- enough of me- how are you?
Love
